Both models share the same drivetrain on paper in the Premium tables: a 1.5-litre turbo (1498 cc), 7-speed DCT and FWD, with 130 kW / 177 hp @ 5500 rpm and 305 Nm @ 1500–4500 rpm. Engine labels differ — X55 II “1.5TD (A156T2H)”, X75 “1.5T Turbo GDI” — but in daily use you will mainly notice sprint, consumption and fuel: the X55 II is slightly quicker, quotes lower WLTP consumption and RON 95 recommended; the X75 lists RON 92.
